    anti fouling
Biofouling can occur in all waters wells where build–up can limit recovery flow rates, and in the exterior and interior of ocean–laying pipes. In the latter case it has been shown to retard the seawater flow through the ship’ underneath the hull of a vessel surface and has to be removed. That we offer to do with a plasma–physic protecting process (the hyper–ionizing.) Biofouling also occurs on the surfaces of living marine organisms, when it is known as epibiosis.

We provide the ship and boat owners an unique solution to prevent the epibiosis and fouling (bio–fouling) for longer then 10 years by using an unique plasma physical process, called "ReFoul". After the "ReFoul" — we do have special bottom paint for underneath the hull of a vessel, that has a service life for over 10 years (in water).

    Anti–fouling

Anti–fouling is the process of removing the accumulation, or preventing its accumulation. In industrial processes bio–dispersants can be used to control biofouling.

    Problems with anti–fouling

In order to minimize the impacts of foulers, many underwater structures are protected by antifouling coatings/paint « SelfClean.» Many types of alternative coatings, however, have been found to be toxic to marine organisms. For example, extremely low concentrations of tributyltin moiety (TBT), the most commonly used anti-fouling agent, cause defective shell growth in the oyster Crassostrea gigas. The ban of organotins such as TBT and triphenyltin (TPT), toxic biocides in marine coatings is a severe problem for the shipping industry; it presents a major challenge for the producers of coatings to develop alternative technologies to prevent fouling on ship hulls. Safer methods of biofouling control are actively researched. Copper compounds have successfully been used in paints and continue to be used as metal sheeting (for ex. Muntz metal which was specifically made for this purpose), though there is still debate as to the safety of copper. The "NAVI" has developed environmentally safe biomimetic ship coatings that protect against both barnacles and biofilms.

« SelfClean » is absolute chemical stable, inert and function in the salt and sweet water for over then 10 years!
